Jasmine Floyd is the August 2026 Chapter Champion

Our August Chapter Champion is Jasmine Floyd.

Floyd is a communications consultant with Called Agency with a background in journalism, public relations and multimedia production. Her work is centered on creating opportunities for people to reflect on their journey, celebrate their accomplishments and inspire others through their experiences. Over the years, Floyd has built relationships with business leaders, public officials and community members. She's covered legal, hospitality and business news while also leading award-winning communications campaigns focused on media relations, public awareness and community engagement.

"At the core, I'm a storyteller," Floyd says. "I enjoy meeting people, learning about their journeys and finding creative ways to share those stories. Whether it's through writing, video or audio, my goal is always to create work that connects with people and makes an impact."

She currently serves on PRSA Georgia's DEI committee, where she created and produces the "Through My Lens" series, a monthly feature that celebrates communications professionals, giving them their flowers and the opportunity to share the experiences that shaped their careers.

"Being part of PRSA Georgia has given me the opportunity to combine two things I love — connecting with people and gaining knowledge from individuals so that I’m able to put together beautiful stories," she says. "Knowing my work can inspire someone else in our industry has made the experience especially rewarding."

Floyd earned her bachelor's degree in mass communications from Savannah State University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, learning German and playing video games.
