Jonathan Olens is the September 2026 Chapter Champion

Our September Chapter Champion is Jonathan Olens. He serves on the PRSA Georgia Professional Development committee.

Olens is a marketing and public relations communications specialist at A. Brown Olmstead Associates, where he helps nonprofit and corporate clients tell their stories and connect with the audiences that matter most. He works across media relations, strategic communications, content creation and event planning, from securing media coverage and developing campaigns to helping produce major fundraising events. This is his first volunteer experience with PRSA Georgia.

“The connections I’ve made while learning new and better ways to do PR have been invaluable,” he says. “PRSA has given me the opportunity to grow as a communications professional, learn from others in the field, contribute to my local PR community, and build relationships that have strengthened both my career and my passion for the profession.”

Olens’ professional experience includes local and national media, marketing, and public relations. His volunteer experience includes being on committees and boards for organizations such as Jewish Family & Career Services, and he’s serving his second stint on the board of the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Atlanta.

In his free time, he enjoys going to local coffee shops and trying new recipes. On a typical Sunday morning, you can find him on the Beltline as part of a walking/running group. “A fun fact about me is that I was an extra in an HBO movie, ‘Warm Springs,’ and you can spot me in a scene.”
